Anglo Pacific Consultants (London) Ltd was founded in 1993 and we are recognized as being one of the market leaders in underwriting SME and large commercial & liability business. Since its formation, APC has grown from a start up business to one that employs highly experienced staff dealing with over 1000 brokers throughout the UK including Northern Ireland.
We focus on the needs of independent brokers and give them the support to survive and thrive in the face of the larger competitors. With more and more direct insurers entering the market and larger composite insurer demands, business has become harder for the traditional independently owned brokers but we want to keep things traditional!
APC are also recommended insurers for a number of selected Broker Networks and Franchises.
Many people say that Underwriting agents are ‘Wholesale Brokers’, this is certainly not the case with APC. Since 1993, we have gained extensive knowledge and experience in UK commercial and liability business. This has enabled us to obtain highly commendable binding authorities from well established 'A' rated insurers.
We like to stress that we are Underwriters and not wholesale brokers. APC brokers have guaranteed access to our in house underwriters and other key individuals within the business and our underwriting department have the power to make instant decisions which enables our broker relationships to grow and strengthen.

All business transacted through APC is driven by our bespoke on-line management system ‘QuoteMac’. All policies are issued on a statement of fact basis, so there are no proposal forms to be signed.
