16th November 2009 - Commercial insurance underwriting agency APC has made a senior appointment to launch into the UK Directors and Officers market online.

Andrew Coleman joins APC as D&O underwriter to build APC’s UK D&O book of business. Coleman brings 20 years experience as a broker and underwriter, in both the U.S. and UK markets, and joins from Navigators Syndicate at Lloyd’s where he was D&O class underwriter.

28/04/2008 - Our new pubs and wine bars product has been launched onto QuoteMac with immediate effect.

The new product caters for changes in the risk profile of pubs and restaurants since round the clock drinking became legal. It provides cover for a vast array of establishments from city wine bars to gastropubs to traditional hostelries. The broad range of outlet types catered for also means general referrals are reduced when brokers access the product.

2008 sees APC with a unique contract within Lloyd’s combining Property, Combined Liability, Professional Indemnity, Directors & Offices and Legal Expenses. Other Classes will follow in due course. The contract is 100 per cent underwritten in the Lloyd’s market.

14th November 2007 - Re-branded commercial insurance underwriting agency APC Underwriting will add a new shopkeepers` product to its broker trading platform QuoteMac from tomorrow.
Shopkeepers` is designed both for independent shopkeepers and franchised retailers with single shops and portfolios. In addition there is a variety of optional extensions available including theft by employees, legal expenses and specified all risks.

23 October 2007 - APC Underwritings’ Property Owners Delegated Binding Authority scheme has now been extended to Northern Ireland.

The move follows significant interest from the region and consequently APC has teamed up with two loss adjusters, Lucas Associates and OSG Loss Adjusters.

27^th April 2007 - APC are now offering bespoke Delegated Binding Authorities to brokers with Property Owner Business.

Our capacity has been placed in the Lloyd’s market and brokers with delegated binding authorities will be able to cater for risks up to £5,000,000 sum insured any one location. Brokers will be able to write all types of commercial and residential property owners business.
