APC to triple in size through major cross-region expansion 1st October 2008 - Commercial insurance underwriting agency APC has launched the next phase of its development to expand its regional presence across England and into Northern Ireland and Wales. APC has already begun recruiting broker development managers across these areas, which will create the platform required for APC to double revenues within three years and triple them within five. Establishing a physical presence regionally will allow APC to build closer relationships with existing and new brokers by augmenting its current telephone and email communications with them. APC has segmented its target regions as the North East, North Yorkshire and Yorkshire, East and West Midlands, North London and East of England, South London and South East, the South West, Northern Ireland and Wales. This will bring a host of benefits for brokers including more frequent visits and faster response times as visits can be arranged at short notice more easily. The broker development managers will bring expert local knowledge, so can pick up and feedback to brokers any issues that may be occurring plus details of any emerging opportunities. APC directorIan Russell said: “We anticipate great mutual benefits for both APC and brokers from having experts on the ground and in the areas where brokers are. APC relies heavily on brokers and we want to support them in the ways they tell us they need support from their carriers. “We have good relationships with all of our broker partners but these tend to be stronger in the areas where we have offices. By establishing a broad regional presence APC will be able to offer the highest levels of support to all of our brokers.” << Back |
